Our Artist Residency Program
We know the power of art. We understand time is a gift. Artist Residency programs offer time and space to explore your creative process. We are committed to providing the opportunity, in one or two-month increments, for you to explore your art practice.
We use the application process to understand: who you are, how you found us, what your creative art practice is, and what neurological disruption you live with or experienced. There are a few logistics questions too.
We set up a virtual call with each applicant within two weeks of receiving your inquiry.
You may, or may not call yourself an artist.
We understand this.
We are here to support your creative exploration.

You are encouraged to bring your art materials with you

Artist-in-Residency Testimonials
“The broad swaths of time and space at The Neuro: Artist Residency allowed me to be creative on my terms. Since the nearest town was too far away to walk to, I was happily kept captive onsite with the chickens, deer, and turkeys for fellowship. Long walks in a beautiful space allowed me to think and reflect on my work while simultaneously allowing me to get away from my desk and find new inspiration. It was the perfect balance of freedom to be and nowhere to go, which perfectly held me accountable to my work. I am so grateful for the time and space I had while visiting.”

Located about two-hours from Salt Lake City, Utah in Sanpete Valley.
We are partnering with our friends who run a beautiful organization in Spring City, Utah.
Birch Creek Service Ranch was founded with Art at the core of what they do to connect community and nature.
Where is this?
The lay of the land...
We have the good fortune to partner with our friends at Birch Creek Service Ranch. Operating since 2002, this property has been built by hand and with love by many people. Art has been at the core of BCSR since it's inception. Covid shifted that, serendipity inserted itself, and The Neuro: Artist Residency found an aligned home. BCSR operates a renowned Summer Camp. We are honored to be part of the expansion of Birch Creek Service Ranch and its efforts to host year-round art and community programming.
